Anglo Saxon Leader

This is the leader of my Anglo-Saxon warband for Saga. They're all Gripping Beast plastics - the armoured warriors are made from the Saxon Thegns box, while the unarmoured levies are made from the Dark Ages Warriors box.

I chose a colour scheme of dark green, red and off white - much the same as my Rohirrim, although with less leather. Most of the shields are plain, with only the leader and his hearthguard having patterned shields.

As befits a leader, this figure is more richly dressed than the others - his mail shirt is trimmed with gold, and he wears a cloak - the only one to do so. He is also mounted on a 2p piece, which is subtly larger than the 1p pieces the others are mounted on.
