WIP: 1/35 Waffen SS soldier

This guy's an Academy model, from their 'Battle of Bulge' set of figures (their typo not mine). Only the face, helmet, and smock are done, the rest is merely undercoated. I'm painting his other arm separately, along with the Kar98 he's holding.

For some reason this picture looks really bad - I know it's a cliché, but it does look better in the flesh. I guess that's something else to work on then. I might try using less subtle lighting next time.
