Mantic Ghouls #2
Here's the second part of my review of the Mantic Ghouls.
First up are a shot of the sprue.
It comes with two bodies, two sets of legs, three heads, and a couple of extra thingies like weapons. I haven't seen the sprues for a whole box, but if the box is made up of multiples of this sprue, then some conversion will be necessary to get a good variety of poses.
The figures are nicely moulded, with no flash and crisp detail.
Here are the two figures painted up. I forgot to take any pictures before painting.
They reminded me of the infected from the film I Am Legend, so I painted them like that. On that note, here's a cartoon from Vexillium, whatever that is. Kudos to whoever made the cartoon though.
In conclusion, I'd rate these figures a solid seven or eight out of ten, and props to Mantic for their generosity. Pity about Royal Mail, but that can't be blamed on Mantic.

These ghouls are awesome! I've listed them in the good examples in our article: How to paint visually interesting undead miniatures - Miniature painting guide
