Typhoon WiP

This is my Airfix Typhoon fighter-bomber. I picked it up last week for a fiver, needing some air support for my WW2 Brits. This was a mistake, the Airfix kit is horrible to put together, and has serious issues with gaps.

I was originally going to do a nice job on it, but after putting it together, decided that it wasn't worth it. To that end, it's painted simply, and will have the decals applied tomorrow. This is very much a wargames standard model. It looks OK from arms length, and that'll have to be good enough.

In conclusion, if you are wanting a good result, don't buy the Airfix offering. Having said that, there are some Airfix kits which are quite good, so always check online before you buy an Airfix kit.
